Your Role as a Conversation Host
What we expect from every AIFN Conversation Host
Draw Out the Story
Your role is to surface the guest's real experience and point of view. Ask the questions that reveal what they have actually learned, built, or decided.
Stay on Topic
Each conversation has a defined topic or theme. Keep the discussion focused while allowing organic exploration of adjacent ideas.
Represent the Network
You are a published contributor to AI Frontier Network. Bring curiosity, preparation, and professionalism to every conversation.
Your Commitments
What you agree to when you become a Conversation Host
Preparation
Come prepared with a clear topic focus and 2-3 substantive questions. Review the guest's background before the call so the conversation starts with context, not introductions.
Availability
Confirm scheduling in a timely way. If you need to reschedule, notify AIFN and your guest at least 48 hours in advance.
Professionalism
Maintain a respectful, editorial environment. No promotional pitches, no recruiting during conversations, no pay-to-speak arrangements.
Quality Over Volume
One excellent published conversation is worth more than several rushed ones. Prioritize depth and specificity over breadth.
Content Guidelines
Standards for topics and discussions
Original Perspectives
Focus on practitioner insights, real-world applications, and forward-looking analysis. Avoid repackaging press releases or surface-level news summaries.
Balanced Viewpoints
Present AI developments with nuance. Acknowledge both opportunities and risks. Avoid hype-driven narratives or fear-based framing.
Respect Confidentiality
Guests may share pre-launch work, internal challenges, or unpublished research. What is shared in the conversation stays in the conversation unless explicitly approved for publication.

Code of Conduct
Non-negotiable standards for all AIFN activities
Zero Tolerance
Harassment, discrimination, and hate speech are not tolerated. This includes but is not limited to language or behavior targeting race, gender, sexuality, disability, or religion.
Intellectual Honesty
Attribute ideas and work correctly. Do not misrepresent your qualifications or experience. If you do not know something, say so.
AI Ethics
Promote responsible AI development. Discussions should consider societal impact, safety, and ethical implications alongside technical capabilities.
