About the report

State of the AI Frontier 2026 is an intelligence report from AI Frontier Network, built from structured contributions by people working close to the real edge of AI adoption, deployment, and company transformation.

The report is designed to move beyond generic prediction lists and vendor narratives. Every contributor answers the same five questions, creating a comparable view of how experienced AI leaders see the year ahead.

The final report will synthesize contributor perspectives into a focused 2026 briefing on capability shifts, production adoption, overlooked opportunities, wrong consensus bets, and measurable signals to watch.

Who the report is for

This report is for leaders who need to understand where AI is moving before the consensus becomes obvious.

It is written for executives, operators, product leaders, and technical leaders making decisions about AI adoption, deployment, investment priorities, organizational change, and product direction in 2026.

The goal is to help readers see the real frontier more clearly: what is becoming practical, what is being overestimated, what is still underpriced, and which signals are worth watching.

Who should contribute

We are looking for perspectives from people actively shaping, deploying, operating, or buying AI.

This includes executives leading AI adoption, operators building AI-enabled workflows, technical leaders bringing systems into production, product leaders turning AI capabilities into customer value, and practitioners seeing what works beyond the demo.

This is not a research survey. It is a structured editorial and intelligence project for people with a clear view of where AI is moving in practice.
