AI Frontier Conversations

Frequently asked questions

How AI Frontier Conversations works — from applying and matching to recording, review, and publication.

What is AI Frontier Conversations?

AI Frontier Conversations is an editorial series from AI Frontier Network. It brings together two leaders working at the frontier of AI for a curated, recorded conversation around one question neither can fully answer alone — roughly 30 minutes, with no interviewer and no sales pitches.

Selected conversations may be edited and published as interviews, articles, podcast episodes, videos, newsletter items, and short clips across AI Frontier Network’s channels.

Who can participate?

We welcome executives, founders, operators, investors, and practitioners with real, first-hand experience building, deploying, or leading AI.

An application may be submitted by a representative (for example an assistant or PR contact), but AIFN confirms participation and profile sharing directly with the participant before anything is shared or scheduled.

How are conversation partners selected?

We review applicants and propose a pairing around a shared or complementary question, based on each person’s expertise, interests, and perspective.

A proposed match is a suggestion, not a confirmation. Applying does not guarantee a match.

Can I review the proposed participant before accepting?

Yes. Before anything is confirmed, we share the other person’s approved professional profile — typically name, role, company, short bio, and LinkedIn — along with the proposed theme, so you can decide whether it’s a good fit.

You review the proposed match and decide independently. No introduction is made without mutual agreement.

What happens if I decline a proposed match?

Declining is completely safe. It does not remove you from the program — you simply stay in the pool and remain eligible for future matches. Neither participant is introduced or scheduled unless both independently agree to proceed.

How is the conversation structured?

Participants receive a short one-page conversation brief as a guide.

Who guides the discussion?

Both participants do. This is a peer-to-peer exchange, not an interview — neither person is the host, and both are free to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and introduce ideas. AIFN provides the central question and the one-page brief; the participants lead the conversation themselves.

How long does a conversation last?

The recorded conversation is about 30 minutes, usually preceded by a short, off-record warm-up so both participants can meet and settle in before anything is captured for possible publication.

Is the conversation recorded?

Yes. The conversation is recorded using a standard meeting or recording platform, with the participants’ consent. The first few minutes are treated as an off-record warm-up and are not published.

Where might the resulting content be published?

If a conversation is prepared for publication, it may appear as an article, podcast episode, video, newsletter item, social post, or short clip across AI Frontier Network’s own media channels.

Recording a conversation does not guarantee publication — editorial selection applies.

How does review and publication work?

Participants submit the recorded conversation to AIFN, so anything you would prefer not to publish should be removed before submitting. AIFN prepares editorial content from the submitted material, which may include pieces featuring a single participant.

Before publishing, we share the prepared content with a response deadline, typically one week. If we don’t hear back by the deadline, we proceed with publication. Full details are set out in the participation terms.

Is there a fee to participate?

No. Participation in the current editorial program is free, subject to selection. Participation is an editorial opportunity, not a paid engagement, employment, contractor, or spokesperson relationship with AIFN.

Standard AI-assisted editing and production are included. Extensive manual editing or participant-specific production requests are not included by default, as set out in the participation terms.

What information is shared with potential conversation partners?

Only approved, public or professional information — such as your name, role, company, short bio, LinkedIn, and relevant work — so each side can evaluate the opportunity.

Private contact details (email, phone, calendar links) are never shared until both sides have agreed to proceed.
